When I lived in Hoboken, NJ I would take walks along the river. There you can see a really great view of the NYC skyline. Although the skyline is beautiful, what interested me more was a strip of land stretching into the water with trees perfectly lined up. This piece was part of a group of sketches I created  as I was working on my larger piece, Winter Line which can be seen in the painting section of this store.
